New York Governor David Patterson could be in trouble because of his friendship with Jay-Z. According to reports, Patterson may have been influenced by Jigga to approve a new race track and casino venture in New York.

Aqueduct Entertainment Group (AEG) landed a multi-million dollar contract from New York state officials in January to upgrade the existing Aqueduct Race Track venue into a modern gaming site known as a Racino. The only problem with the deal is Jay-Z holds a seven percent stake in AEG via his firm, Gain Global Investments Network LLC.

Federal investigators are looking into Jigga’s relationship with Patterson to determine if Hov influenced Patterson to sign off on the deal which benefits AEG. AEG spokesman Jonathan Rosen has dismissed the accusations.
