The Compton MC will release his fourth LP The R.E.D. Album on December 1. A deluxe edition of the set will also be available that day. The holiday release season heats up as Game goes head-to-head with Alicia Keys’ The Element of Freedom and R. Kelly’s Untitled.

“R.E.D. album soon, wrappin this mothaf#$%@ up in 30 days ! Jimmy Iovine told me to tell ya when this sh!t drop, Merry X-Mas ! BWS/Aftermath,” he tweeted on Monday, while hinting that his new labelmate Diddy may make a guest appearance.

The Game had considered retiring from rap after 2008’s L.A.X., which spawned the hit single “My Life” with Lil Wayne. The R.E.D. Album signifies his RE-Dedication to hip-hop.
